International Network of Parliamentarians on Tibet (INPaT), 4 May 2011
Honourable Dr. Sangay,
On behalf of the International Network of Parliamentarians
on Tibet (INPaT), we wish to congratulate you on your
election as the next Kalon Tripa of the Tibetan
Government in Exile.
When INPaT Tibetan Election Observation Mission visited
the polling stations in Belgium, Canada, India, Nepal,
Switzerland and the United States of America, we
witnessed an enthuaistic urge amongst the Tibetan voters
to exercise their democractic rights in an open and well
managed atmosphere duringthis unique Tibetan election
process. Members of TEOM also had the opportunity to
meet you personally in Dharamsala.
As briefed during that meeting, INPaT looks forward to
working closely with your administration in our future
initiatives on Tibet, including the convening of the Sixth
World Parliamentarians Covention on Tibet.
With the assurances of our highest esteem,
